We are Jay and Dawn Allen – the artistic genius behind Night Designs.
Night Designs got its name because we used to do our creative work into the wee hours, while our little ones were asleep. Now they’re no longer little, but we still love to put our creative heads together and come up with beautiful finished products – from logos to websites to print ads.
Jay went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia and came out with a degree in Visual Communications and started his career in graphic design before finding his calling in IT (always for creative firms).
Dawn went to the University of Connecticut and came out with some good stories. But she’s always had an eye for design and is a quick learner – and after spending time in the industry, she’s built a solid skill set, creating stunning print ads and engaging websites.
Put us together and you’ve got a duo that’s a little nerdy, pretty funny, and insanely creative.
